(1) For the purposes of this Act, the following bodies shall be deemed to be management bodies:-
(a) the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation in relation to wildlife or specimens thereof,
(b) Department of Forests and Land Conservation in relation to flora or fauna (2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), the Government of Nepal may, by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette, designate a specific body as a management body in relation to a specific wildlife or plant or specimen thereof.
